Z/Yen Limited, the recently launched risk/reward management specialist firm, has won an assignment to help Broadcasting Support Services (BSS) produce its fifth strategic plan. BSS is an educational charity which provides follow-up services for viewers and listeners and runs long-term helplines. BSS clients include the BBC, Channel 4, Granada Television and the Department of Health.
BSS Deputy Director, David Highton, says "we conducted an extensive tendering process and selected Z/Yen as it offered an imaginative approach to strategic planning which includes workshops, drop-in surgeries, external research and a hand-picked expert panel to add breadth of view and ideas to the planning process. Z/Yen's lively and energetic style constantly invigorates and challenges us to find positive solutions."
Z/Yen director, Ian Harris, says: "We are delighted that BSS chose us to help them with their strategic planning in the face of fierce competition. We are committed to helping forward-thinking organisations to find innovative solutions. We believe that BSS was attracted to our powerful combination of entrepreneurs and sector specialists who can help turn a client's vision into reality. This win is further evidence of Z/Yen's attractiveness to voluntary sector organisations, publishers and helpline providers."
Z/Yen specialises in risk/reward management, an innovative approach to improving organisational performance. Z/Yen clients to date include blue chip companies in banking, insurance, distribution as well as several charities, helpline providers and publishers.
