Exchange And Start For Z/Yen

june_113.gif

Z/Yen is delighted to announce that it has won a substantial risk simulation assignment for a major financial exchange. The risk model will simulate investor, regulator and exchange perceptions of the financial risk. The work will be done jointly with DERA (the world’s largest R&D agency, an agency of the MOD). The Z/Yen team consists of Ian Harris, Martin Cooper and Mike Smith. The project should be challenging and fun.

Why Do New Z/Yen Folk Speak Spanish?

Z/Yen has two new recruits since the last issue of Now and Z/Yen: Roxanne Recordon and Teresa Bestard. Roxanne, better known as Rox, helps to make the St Helen’s Place office happen and speaks Spanish in her spare time. Rox previously worked in Hong Kong. Jokes such as " is Rox here or is our Rox off?" are too obvious to print. Almost as obvious as making jokes about Teresa’s second name, which of course we would never dream of doing.

Teresa, who hails from Catatonia, joined on a Monday, was whisked straight off to one of Ian Harris’ mysterious clients and has not been seen since. She went armed with Rox’s map showing her directions back to the office.

Mister And Missus Mainelli

Our very own Michael Mainelli recently married the lovely Elisabeth (nee Reuss) in Frankonia, Northern Bavaria.

"What a charming cardboard box with a ribbon on it… yes it’s just what Michael and I wanted… no really it was so thoughtful of you…"

Mainelli’s contribution to the bachelor community (which included drinking, eating, drinking, partying, drinking, merry-making, drinking and a healthy cynicism) continued right up until he suddenly lost his batchelorhood in May. Strangely, most witnesses (including Mrs Mainelli-Reuss) perceive little or no change in the old stag. Seriously, many congratulations to both of you.

More News Of Z/Yen Wins

A Government Agency has commissioned us to undertake a review of the world market for outsourcing. Z/Yen Team: Nick Thum and Ian Harris. Now and Z/Yen quiz: What is the French term for Facilities Management?
