Ian Harris attended the National Payroll Giving Excellence Awards 2018, on Z/Yen's behalf, as Z/Yen was awarded Diamond status for sustained excellence at payroll giving. The awards evening, at Clothworkers Hall, was hosted by the award judges, assisted by Rebecca Long Bailey.
Z/Yen has a long and noble history with payroll giving awards, having been involved from the start. Ian himself chaired the panel of judges for the first six years of the awards; 2007 to 2012.
Indeed, Ian likes to tell people that he met "GOD" through judging these awards, because Gus O'Donnell was one of the presenters in 2011 - one of many distinguished presenters in those early days. Jane Kennedy, Martin Lewis, Stephen Timms and Sajid Javid to name but four others.
More importantly, over the years Z/Yen's small team has donated some £60,000 to charity through payroll giving, with Z/Yen actively promoting and supporting the scheme; hence the Diamond Award. Click here to see a picture of Ian looking rather smug with the other Diamond Award winners.
You can also see pictures of Ian in listening mode (a rare sight) here...and again here with Peter O'Hara - a long-time payroll giving advocate. Indeed if galleries of photos are your thing, you can see them all here.
Z/Yen is very proud of its payroll giving tradition; we would encourage all firms, large and small, to promote payroll giving with their staff.
