Rumours that Z/Yen's director, Ian Harris, is rarely spotted outside Zone 1 of the London travel system will be scotched by this news of Ian's intrepid tour of the Z/Yen hinterland in the summer of 2018.
His first stop was Z/Yen's Leicester outpost, where Mike Wardle can be found on his home turf. There, much to the amusement of the burghers of Leicestershire, Mike and Ian met in a hostelry named The Cosy Club. The venue is, in fact, a most respectable place, although Mike tried to sully the Cosy Club's reputation by showing Ian some of his groceries, which included a product named Nude cheese. Apparently this is a well-known brand of processed cheese in South Korea. Dae Han Min Gook. So that's explained.
A few days later, with Janie along with him...(for protection? The notes for this piece are not totally clear)...Ian visited Mark Yeandle at the Z/Yen Kent Office. The picture depicts Janie being brave enough to enter, perhaps encouraged by the "welcoming" sign, which reads:
"P""" Off I'm Busy"
Yes, the silly season is now over and we are marking that ending with one of the silliest Now & Z/Yen posts in years, the real purpose of which is to draw attention to the new look Z/Yen website (you see, there was real work going on over the summer) and to welcome Now & Z/Yen readers back after the summer.
