Gig Workers – How Can They Be Brought Into Shared Ownership (Inclusive Capitalism)?
Webinar (Invitation Only)

This series of 10 presentations is part of the British Isles Share Plans Symposium 2022. To join these webinars, and the in-person element of the symposium on Wednesday 6 April, please email events@esopcentre.com

The rise of the gig economy, outsourcing and the demise of a “job for life” have served to diminish access to share plans for a significant proportion of the workforce.

In his presentation, share schemes expert David Craddock explores the economics and culture of gig working and the considerations that apply to the involvement in company share schemes of individuals who are not employees or executive directors of the company.

The presentation will be discussed at the 6 April in-person session as part of Panel Four— The Impact Of Regulation And Governance On All-Employee Share Plans, when participants will have the opportunity to put questions and comments to the panel.
