Are standards needed for Mutual Distributed Ledger Technology? What aspects of MDL technology should standards address? Are existing standards sufficient or are new ones required? Should technical standards be developed or will they emerge naturally? Are different standards required for different sectors? Who should be responsible for developing new standards? These are some of the questions being explored as part of a research project on intergovernmental standards for mutual distributed ledgers.
