In this webinar, Anne Rose outlined Tech London Advocates Blockchain Legal and Regulatory Group's next steps following the publication of the "TLA Blockchain Legal & Regulatory Guidance" report in September 2020 with the Law Society.

Most critically, perhaps, "TLA Blockchain Legal and Regulatory Guidance" suggests best practice for legal practitioners working on transactions involving smart contracts, and raises questions concerning the need for the development of on-chain dispute resolution mechanisms.

Anne Rose is an Associate in the Commercial team and Co-Lead of the Blockchain Group at Mishcon de Reya She has experience in advising on data and privacy, IP and IT-related contractual issues for clients, with a particular focus on the retail, adtech and betting/gaming sectors, as well as advising a number of sports technology (including esports) clients. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and holds a CIPP/E certification. She also has a diploma in Fintech from the Säid Business School, University of Oxford.
Anne is a leading individual in the blockchain legal ecosystem and Chairs the Legal & Regulatory sub-working group of TLA Blockchain. She is also a director of thinkBlockTank, a non-profit organisation. Anne has mentored a number of early stage businesses through various incubator programmes, including MdR Lab. Anne also sits on the M:Tech panel, responsible for overseeing the firm's M:Tech initiative.
