The Financial Supervisory Service, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Z/Yen Group invite you to an informatory webinar to be held on Friday, April 30 2021. During this 1.5 hour session, we will provide information on what makes the city of Seoul attractive and competitive as a global financial hub.
Seoul is ranked 16th out of 114 cities this year in the Global Financial Centres Index. It has been thriving as a center for dynamic financial innovation and is especially attractive for global companies and start-ups, with a growing local demand for asset management services, benefits of tax and regulatory exemptions, and advanced IT infrastructure.
This info-session is part of Seoul Metropolitan Government's project to invite major financial institutions - investment banks, asset management and insurance firms, and startups - to open branches and relocate to Seoul. The Project has been fueled by the Special Act On Support For Financial Innovation (enacted December 2018 and effective April 2019). After the presentation, participants of the webinar will have a chance to engage in a direct Q&A session with top managers from the Financial Supervisory Service and the Soul Metropolitan Government.
