Speakers:

Leanne Bassett has over 20 years’ experience in capital markets globally in both middle office and front office/commercial roles. Over her career she has worked for leading technology vendors, exchanges and brokerages including NYSE, TMX, TD Securities and ICAP. Before joining Archax 4 and a half years ago, Leanne consulted with disruptive FinTech start-ups focusing on capital markets solutions.

Damir Cimer serves as the COO of ScribeStar, a digital platform used by issuers and their deal teams to enhance efficiency in documentation production, compliance, and transaction management in capital markets. In this role, Damir oversees operations, innovation, strategy, and leads relationships with exchanges, including Archax, poised to launch a fully digital issuance and admissions process powered by ScribeStar.

With a diverse background spanning banking, infrastructure development, public sector management and international affairs, Damir has a deep understanding of global financial markets, stakeholders, and prevailing technology trends. His professional journey prior to joining ScribeStar encompasses four years as an Adviser on the Board of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, nine years working for OECD on infrastructure development, and extensive service within the Croatian Government, working on infrastructure, structural reforms and special projects. Outside of his commitments, Damir is an active Director of the British Croatian Chamber of Commerce and a Co-founder of Global Tech Connect—an alliance of UK-based International Startup Programmes.
