Having spent over 30 years pushing the boundaries of innovation across a variety of industries, Andrew is passionate about dispelling the myth that “Innovation takes place in a funnel” – an attitude that often constrains organisational thinking and excludes valuable input from a much broader eco-system.
Using a colourful metaphor (not a method) littered with real world anecdotes, Andrew will provide insight into the actions and activities required to engage a team, department or entire organisation in to move the dial from “doing innovation” to “being more innovative” across the board.
The former VP of Technology R&D at Visa Europe, Andrew is a passionate technologist, innovator and disruptor.
His primary activity is global scanning and scouting for new technologies and the companies behind the trends that are disrupting business right now. He works with established companies and start-ups across the world in order to help them envisage the range of possible futures fuelled, accelerated and enabled by technology.
