Alison Birch is a Managing Director, Director & Chief Operating Offier, Head of the Global Delivery Group of State Street Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (SSTB) and concurrently the head of State Street's Fukuoka office. She is responsible for the Heiei business operations including Fund Accounting, Middle Office and Reporting for Asset Manager clients and manages Trustee Service operations teams for Asset Owner and Insurance clients. Prior to joining State Street, Alison worked for JPMorgan & Chase and Citi in a career spanning 35 years in various management positions in the United States, Japan and Hong Kong within the Operations and Technology, Finance, Human Resources and Fixed Income divisions. Alison graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a BA in Asian Studies. She attended the Associate Kyoto Program at Doshisha University and was a Rotary Club exchange student, attending her junior year of high school in Imari, Saga prefecture, Japan. She joined SSTB in April 2022 and resides with her husband in Fukuoka
Kyoya Okazawa launched STOK CORPORATION in February 2023 with the mission to solve corporate and social issues through financial mechanisms. Prior to that, he co-founded Animoca Brands Japan (Animoca Brands KK = ABKK) as a strategic subsidiary in Japan of Animoca Brands Limited, a leading global web3 company based in Hong Kong in October 2021, and served as Chief Investment Officer. Before co-founding ABKK, Oka was a Head of Corporate and Institutional Sales APAC, Head of Research APAC and Head of Global Markets Japan and Korea at BNP Paribas based in Hong Kong. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, he worked at UBS and Credit Suisse. He also serves as an International Financial City Ambassador and Web3 Business Investment & Attraction Advisor in Fukuoka City, Advisor of Asuene Inc. and VMO Japan and a board member of TRIVE Holdings Co., Ltd and Paralymart Corporation. Oka holds a BA degree in Economics from Keio University.
