What Does A Bear Market Really Look Like?
Christmas Party

Christmas Party

It's the silly season already, and so we end 2013 with a party. A Christmas Party of course, but this one with a difference.

We are holding an open house at Wax Chandlers' Hall, 6 Gresham Street, London EC2V 7AD on Wednesday 11th December 2013 and all are welcome from 6.00pm until 9.30pm

The evening will provide you with a great insight into the nature of the Financial Services Club, our members and our future program.

Equally, you may have noticed that the Financial Services Club has a logo of a Bull and a Bear. Now we all know that the Bull and Bear represent market movements rushing forward or rearing backwards, but what if there really was a bear in the marketplace? Or a bear in the Club?

Well, to celebrate Christmas, we are having a bear visit the Financial Services Club. This is no ordinary bear however, but an extraordinary bear that spans our London, Edinburgh and Warsaw connections, as well as much of our history. This bear is supported by many people, including the Chartered Banker Institute who will be joining us in partnership for the evening.

To find out about the real bear, the connections with the Club and also to enjoy a classic evening of wine and song, come and join us on 11th December for the Financial Services Club's Christmas Party.

It's sure to be fun.

Oh, and the evening is being run for a charitable cause. We will tell you about the Charity on the night and will appreciate any donations you can make on the evening, so bring lots of cash. There will also be a prize draw, and you can win some great prizes including your very own bear! All of those who make a donation will be eligible, so make sure you join in.
