Background: In a reprise of the well-received 4 June webinar, YBS Share Plans’ Darren Smith will discuss the share plan administration, legal and tax burning questions with expert guests on his virtual sofa. He will be asking colleague Bryony Padgett-Jones, Deloitte’s Katie Stephens and EY’s Suzannah Crookes what they are seeing in the market and what the future holds.
Speakers:
Darren Smith has worked in the Share Plans industry for over 20 years. In this time he has worked on all the operational teams including management, relationship management and most recently business development. He is a regular industry host and speaker on topics including share plans and financial wellbeing, bringing a fun and engaging style to events.
Bryony Padgett-Jones has a wealth of administrator experience after working in a variety of roles for YBS Share Plans including: operational, client relationship management and most recently business development. Bryony has knowledge and experience in running and managing: all-employee (Sharesave & SIP), executive and international share plans.
Katie Stephens is an Associate Director who has nine years’ experience advising companies on the design, implementation and operation of UK and global incentive plans. She works with multinationals to address a broad range of incentive plan issues including tax, legal & regulatory compliance, employee communications and corporate recharges/ deductibility/ accounting for share based payments.
Katie also supports a number of companies who use Deloitte's GA Incentives technology to manage on an automated basis the employer payroll obligations for expatriates. She has a degree in Economics from the University of Manchester and is a member of the Association of Tax Technicians.
Suzannah Crookes is a Director focussing on incentive arrangements for UK and overseas private and listed companies. She trained as lawyer and has supported many companies in adopting and operating long-term and short-term incentives, both at executive level and for the wider workforce. Suzannah’s broad experience of equity plans together with a strong tax background enables her to focus on the design and implementation of effective incentive arrangements, as well as review and support with compliance.
