Speakers:
Dr Jeremy Sosabowski is the CEO and Co-founder of AlgoDynamix, a financial analytics company providing advance warning of major directional market movements. Jeremy has over a decade of business and technology commercialisation experience. His previous roles include CTO at an instrumentation company (technology acquired) and data analyst within the online transaction space. His 'IP portfolio' includes several granted patents and more than 10 peer-reviewed publications. An expert in experimental physics, mathematics, and algorithms, Jeremy was (and still is) somewhat puzzled with the world’s obsession with using past data for future extrapolation purposes; even more so when there is little or no past data available for such events. To redress this fundamental problem, he co-found AlgoDynamix in 2013 with software based on many years of academic research at the University of Cambridge.
Ian Hillier-Brook’s career spans 40 years in the Information Technology industry, much of it in the financial sector. He is an experienced senior manager and entrepreneur, and has held senior management positions in the UK, Europe and the USA. Before becoming the CEO of an LSE listed company, he managed European Operations for American IT firms. In the early 1990s, he started working with small companies in the financial IT sector to help raise funding, grow and drive acquisitions. These included companies in the time series database world and risk and regulation. Ian has helped a number of US technology companies enter the European market. Most recently he was the CEO of MCO Europe, the sole distributor of McObject’s eXtremeDB financial edition in the UK and Europe.
He joined AlgoDynamix in 2019 to spearhead its global expansion.
